Wafa Labadi

Graphic Designer

Graduate of Temple University

I love being outdoors — hiking, camping; and I think Rittenhouse Square is a slice of heaven within the city. I like to listen to podcasts while designing, and two of my favorites are 99% Invisible and Jay Shetty’s On Purpose.

Wafa — Arabic for loyalty — was born in Detroit and lived in Saudi Arabia for 10 years before moving to Philadelphia. She found creative outlets helped to ease the culture shock she experienced living in polar opposite societies. Building on her love of creating, Wafa has a passion for photography and fashion, and she finds beauty all around her. The grounds of the Philadelphia Art Museum and the gazebo near Boathouse Row are two of her favorite places to visit for inspiration. She is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, where she earned her degree in Graphic and Interactive Design.
